Introducing our new interim principal, Mr. Patrick Batey. Mr. Batey received his undergraduate degree in education and special education from UW-Eau Claire, followed with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from UW-Superior. Additionally, in 2008, as an administrator representing one of the five largest school districts in Wisconsin, Mr. Batey received Master Educator certification as he participated in a fellowship on Urban School Leadership at Cardinal Stritch University. Mr. Batey’s educational work experience includes eight years as a Catholic school teacher in De Pere and five years as a Catholic school principal in the LaCrosse Diocese, after which Pat moved to a principal’s position in the Green Bay Area Public Schools. Upon completing 20 years in administration in Green Bay, he moved back to Catholic Schools where he became the principal at St. Mary Catholic High School in 2009. For two and a half years, he also served as the System President as well as high school principal. He concluded his 45 year educational career as Director of Educational Services and Superintendent at St. Mary Catholic Schools in 2020.
