St. Mary/St. Michael School participates in the Wisconsin Private School Choice (WPCP) program. For more information, visit dpi.wi.gov/choice
The WPCP provides eligible families a voucher to attend participating private schools in the State of Wisconsin. The voucher covers the cost of educating a child in a private school. The WPCP is now accepting applications from February 1 - April 20, 2023.
Student Eligibility
Each year, all families must apply at https://sms.dpi.wi.gov/ChoiceParent/ Eligibility is based on a combination of residency and income.
The WPCP is open to qualifying students who will be entering 4K, Kindergarten, and first grade. The WPCP is also open to any student, at any grade level, who did not attend St. Mary/St. Michael School or another private school during the prior school year.
Residency
All families must provide documentation of meeting the residency requirement each year. Students may reside in ANY school district to participate in the Choice program and attend St. Mary/St. Michael School.
Income
New Choice students must provide income documentation proving that the family income does not exceed the income limits established by the State of Wisconsin.
Pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 115.28 (54m), our school is required to notify and provide the educational options available to all students who are at least three years old, but not yet 18 years old.
